Outdoor Amenities

Southwestern United States, particularly Southern California is blessed with temperate weather that allows outdoor areas to be utilized as work annexes almost year-round as a part of a commercial interior design strategy.

With the advent of COVID-19, the future of exterior shaded areas that extend a working environment, become a facility asset.  The pandemic has and will continue to change corporate thinking on how to configure the work place—outdoor areas, where possible will become a part of that strategy.

Whether the outdoor area is an extension of a training room, open office, break room or a conference room, these areas are also suitable for social activities that enhance the corporate marketing plan.

The two illustrated projects are examples of extensions to a training room and executive office that allow the continuation of business in a relaxed environment.  Sherman Design Group, Inc., whenever possible, design these types of outdoor amenities into their facility design.
